Industrial Stationery Set


Materials: Utby, nuts, bolts, magnet

Description: The two hacks here are a tape dispenser and a paper clip dispenser. With the spare parts from the Utby stainless steel legs I made the tape dispenser with nuts, bolts, and a roll of tape. The paper clip dispenser just has a magnet glued on the inside of the square tube.


I now have some cool and funky stationery at my office!

  1. I totally love the metal look! Just 2 things to improve the brilliant art work: Apply a sharp edge on the tape dispenser and provide both pieces with some "rubber feet" to save the surface of the table and give the pieces a professional look.

  3. While undoubtedly cool, the tape dispenser would be pretty annoying to refill. I'd be willing to live with it though.
