Old dresser turned new with Ikea fabric

Materials: old dresser, Elisabet Fabric by Ikea, Mod Podge (all-in-one glue, sealer and finish), white paint

Description: I wanted a nice, colourful and cheap dresser for my kid's room. Here's what I did:
-I went to a thrift store and got a really old dresser for $20

-I went to Ikea and bought their nice and colourful Elisabet Fabric in multicolor/pink
-I painted the dresser with white paint
-I cut the fabric the perfect size to fit each single drawer
-I painted the drawers with a lot of Mod Podge
-I placed the cut fabric on each drawer and covered with more Mod Podge
-I let it dry a couple of hours and tah dah!
Here's my new dresser!!!

Easy and fun to do!

"The colours really made the dresser pop. What really does it for me are the new fancy knobs. Nice touch to a new cheery dresser." ~ Jules

  1. From drab to fab. You got yourself a stunning dresser for little more than 30€. Love it.

  3. Great transformation, could do that with any bargain piece from a carboot sale... Good thinking! End result looks really fun and stylish. Might have to try my hand at some DIY this weekend... Thanks for the idea!
