Lack hiding light switches
Materials: Lack side table
Description: In our hall the lights switch was ugly, big and 8 cm thick, so I spent a lot of time thinking about a solution to cover that area and make it decorative at the same time.
I bought a Lack side table, I cut out a square at the back and I placed two hooks on the wall to be able to hang it.
I used some acrylic paint and just move my hands (with globes) to make some lines mixing the colors.
And this is the result.

You can create this for the ugly radiator too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, but how do you turn the lights on and off?
ReplyDeleteNice idea!
ReplyDelete@Danny: this is not a light switch with which you turn the lights on/off several times a day, this looks like the fusebox and the RCD to me. So unless a fuse or the RCD goes you don't need to look behind this "picture".
Nice work!
ReplyDeletebtw: I kinda like the radiator, because its so small...somehow industrial and cute at the same time..
You are a genius! Very cool hack!
ReplyDeleteDude, what is up with the anorexic radiator?

Great idea... I had an old flush in my bath room (built inside the wall) and the ugly weel is still there. This is a great idea to cover it. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteIt is very creative indeed!
ReplyDelete@peter, why do you point other than the hack? Very gossip
Do something with the radiator to!
ReplyDeleteIt's not pretty!
Very nice. I live in an old home with ugly radiators to, but that is cute in a weird way.
