TORSBY and MALM customization

Materials: TORSBY, spray paint

Description: Very simple hack, just did the Torsby without the legs, so it would be the same height as the bed and painted the yellow strips.

The Malm has been personalised with Liberty fabric.

Take a tour of Julia's droolworthy home.

  1. The hacks are really nice... I also enjoyed the tour very much (amazing eclectic style!) and I must admit I fell in love with that yellow-flower-storage-system in the bedroom. What is that and where can I get it? Greetings from Germany!

  2. Ditto on a source for the yellow storage system. I'm also wondering if you DIY'ed the two sideboards with the mismatched drawers/stains? Love 'em. Love your hacks, too, of course. I'm inspired.

  3. Hi, Julia here.

The yellow shelf is from a "vintage sale" at Conran's. Was the first piece of furniture I bought and has moved with me through 4 different flats and always taking different functions.

The mismatched furniture in the living room is by Rupert Blanchard and bought at Elemental, a store in Spitalfield's market.

Thank you very much for all the compliments :)

I'm in the process of moving a lot of stuff around the flat, and I'm considering an expedit-as-headboard hack, and of course this blog is my main inspiration. I'm very happy to contribute back.
