Materials: Rast dresser, silver leaf, paint, crystal knobs
Description: Painted the Rast dresser with black paint, then applied silver leaf glue adhesive to fronts of drawers. Next was to lay silver leaf on the fronts. Seal the dresser with wipe-on poly and add some bling in the form of crystal knobs!

ReplyDeleteThis is unrelated to this particular post, pretty though it is. I was wondering if it wouldn't be possible to have a starring system in place for each of your posts - for people to show how much they like a particular hack. I don't suppose all of the posts will get a response, but it will make it easier for you to choose the top ten or twenty at the end of the year :) It would be a bit unfair for the newer posts though: not enough time for people to have seen them compared to the older ones.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great project, thanks for sharing! I've been all over the more expensive versions ($1000+) of this so I'm thrilled. I was pretty sure there was a good way to DIY this, just wasn't sure how until now!
