Ikea Expedit Three-Story Hamster Habitat

Materials: Expedit 5-by-5 bookcase

Fred is probably the P. Diddy equivalent of Hamsterville, with a 5x5 Expedit megahome all to himself. Katja, Fred's dotting owner, removed dividers on two "floors" to create large spaces to stretch Fred's short little legs. She also decorated the space with hamster luxuries like wooden ladders, bubbly cork goodness for Fred to dive in and play.

  4. Fred's house is bigger than mine (but I do live in a dorm). That's one lucky hamster!

  5. How cool is that? Makes my own hamster's cage look like a prizon in comparison.

  7. Wow... the glass panel only cover a portion of the hole.. Wont the hamster jump or climb out of it?
And... i was wondering whether the hamster would bite through those expedits bookshelf? You know.. the inside of those bookshelf is hollow. And hamster could even bite though solid wood..
