Materials: Grono lamp, cotton yarn, crochet needle

Description: I just love my lamp even more now... it's very easy to do if you can crochet.

It's based on this pattern.

  4. Can this be done with other materials, like decorative paper? Just to add variety to texture.

  5. Adrianne, people crochet torn lengths of plastic bags with a great effect if you choose good colours!

  7. This hack has given me so many ideas! I am going to combine this concept with arigumi-stly animals to make a kid's lamp. So excited!

  8. I love the price of the Grono set but not the harsh light. This is a beautiful solution! It almost makes me want to learn to crochet. ;)

  9. I like the use of crochet for this lamp. Note, however, that the tool for crochet is not referred to as a crochet "needle," but a crochet HOOK.
