Crochet Grono Lamp
Materials: Grono lamp, cotton yarn, crochet needle
Description: I just love my lamp even more now... it's very easy to do if you can crochet.
It's based on this pattern.

I can't crochet, but this looks great. :-)
ReplyDeleteCan this be done with other materials, like decorative paper? Just to add variety to texture.
ReplyDeleteAdrianne, people crochet torn lengths of plastic bags with a great effect if you choose good colours!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
ReplyDelete@Pacific NW Blogfan: You just need to learn how to crochet ;)
This hack has given me so many ideas! I am going to combine this concept with arigumi-stly animals to make a kid's lamp. So excited!
ReplyDeleteI love the price of the Grono set but not the harsh light. This is a beautiful solution! It almost makes me want to learn to crochet. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the use of crochet for this lamp. Note, however, that the tool for crochet is not referred to as a crochet "needle," but a crochet HOOK.
