Trofast with wheels under the staircase
Materials: Trofast, wheels from the DIY store
Description: The triangle-shaped space under a staircase is hard to use. Trofast is often used under stairs with the flat side against the wall, but I have never seen it as used here. I fastened four rolling wheels on the underside, and a sturdy handle to roll it in and out of the closet for easy acess from the side. It now offers lots of space for spare bulk products like wine, potatoes, toiletpaper and pasta.

i need to think about it, and come with an evolution of it. our new house will have an under staircase space, but, to gain space, there's a fake and useless stair going down: the floor is not horizontal... i'll let you know what my project will be
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an idea in the making for me. I also have a space under my stairs that we keep the litter box in. I was just going to use a sink cabinet and hack it to a litter station as seen here before, but if I added some sides to this, I could make a lot better use of the space.
ReplyDeleteI love the list of essentials, and their order.
ReplyDeleteNecessity is the mother invention. Great hack!
ReplyDeleteThis is genius!!! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea. We have always had a difficult time getting the most out of our downstairs closet. With this rack we'll literally double our storage. We're going to see if two might fit.
