This hack came about when I tried to purchase a chalk table
for my preschool art classes. As I later discovered that these chalkboard tables can go for an obscene amount of money, I figured, "I can build it for less than $50." I was DEAD WRONG because it only cost me less than $25 in materials.See more of the Lack chalk table.

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this one! My wife and I LOVED it (and we had a couple of extra LACK tables), so we did it this weekend. Except, we used a Bundt cake pan, which makes it easy for the little guy to pick up the chalk. If you're interested:

ReplyDeleteYou can make your own chalkboard paint by using paint and nonsanded grout. You can use any color you want.
