New-ish dining room table
Materials: Capita
Description:
Finally got around to "remaking" the dining room table. The top is from the old table...the cart was bought on Craigslist. The Capita braces are from IKEA.
Here is the link to the project.

That is one beautiful table.
ReplyDeleteErr, where do you put your legs?
ReplyDeleteMarek that was the question which popped up when I saw the table at first ...
ReplyDeleteDesign before usability. #fail
Same question here. It seems that it would be very uncomfortable to sit at this table.
ReplyDeletewhat is that thing called legs, can you eat that?
ReplyDeleteGood storage and moving around, but no legspace:(
ReplyDeleteThose chairs look sooooooooo comfortable.
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents spent most of their lives in the Hollywood hills and collected many original pieces during the sixties and seventies that transcended that time and spoke to their good taste. Your table reminds me of those pieces and my grandparents. It is a real work of art.
ReplyDeleteThe space between the bottom and top table doesn't make sense as a dinner table. I can see this table functioning maybe as a desk with that space being used as storage, though it would be awkward to store anything and try to retrieve items.
