I was a rockstar, hanging guitar

Materials: Baren, bathroom hangers

Description: Unfortunately I stopped playing my guitar a few years ago, but I could not see it in a corner, so I thought I'd hang it on the wall. I used four hangers from bathroom elements that have the same thickness of the guitar - 5/6cm.

Such a simple thing to do, but of course I never thought of it myself.

  4. Nice work! You might want to restring your guitar though... Not only it's odd to see an axe without strings but the tension of the strings keeps the neck from deforming.

  7. Love the hack. I've been thinking of getting some pegs like this for my ibanez. I'm not too happy about it being on a stand, on the floor, with cats walking about the place.

  8. Go to your local guitar store and get the ones with padded hanger that actually hook around the body of the guitar. This hack looks like one bump on the wall would sent your $1000 guitar crashing to the ground - invest in the $25 real deal.

    - someone whose been there :(
