Hi-tech desk frame , minimal art

Materials: KVARTAL bottom rail

Description: I was looking for a stylish, hi-tech frame that fits to interiors with minimum design. I don't think a frame could be more simple than this one:

1. Take the 45cm KVARTAL bottom rail and cut it in two pieces

2. Have your picture mounted on the back of a 4mm glass (make sure the edges are curved to avoid injuries)

3. Insert the glass to the slot of the KVARTAL rail - no glueing is necessary

4. Use two 3mm screws as a support on the back - the holes are already there!

Simple, is not it?

You might want to play around with the longer alternatives of the KVARTAL rail as well.

Enjoy.

  1. Where did you find the glass that fit just right? How does the picture not curl backwards?

  4. I'm also curious as to where the glass came from, but even more so, what keeps it from falling backward. The rail looks quite thin and like it would fall over. Is it curved?
