The best of 'Lack'
Materials: Lack square table (55 x 55cms), Decoupage paper, 4/5 sheets of printed paper of your own choice. (I used printed flowers with a 'blow away' theme). Decoupage varnish/glue.
Description:
Cover the legs with the decoupage paper using the glue. Cut 4 equal squares of printed paper to cover the surface of the table and stick with glue. You could add something in the middle for effect (see photo above).
To finish add 2 coats of varnish/glue.
Easy isn't it?

ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What kind of varnish did you finish with?
ReplyDeleteI think this is my favoritest Lack ever - a true work of art. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I tried something very similar just the other day with the Lack coffee table. I got lots of air bubbles, but it was my first experience with Modge Podge. I gooped it on pretty good, thinking that I was supposed to practically saturate the paper. Maybe that's wrong. I should have done more homework ahead of time. Oh well, it's just a table for the kids to do play doh on.
ReplyDeleteI have the Lack side table like yours that I plan to cover with a cute retro owl fabric...another table for the kids' play area.
Thanks for sharing!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely love this idea! I plan on doing this for my Lack Coffee Table! Beautiful! Thanks for the posting :)
