Materials: Regolit
Description: On the smaller Regolit lamp shade, the 11-inch one, I wanted to make it into a night light but having it as a white shade filtered out too much light. I wanted a BOJA effect to it so I painted it with Acrylic Black paint. And then punched some holes on them in a pattern. I have a friend who is so mathematically precise with a pen. I then took a old night light base and placed it inside. The patterns look really nice against a white wall.

Very cool nightlight. But this I know - were I to plug it into the room of my grandson, he'd "freak out" during the night. Actually, I'd rather use it as a regular light (accent light) during the day.

I love the wall you created using those cubes and baskets. Did you get those from IKEA too? I have been looking for a low nightstand with a drawer but this could do the trick too!

this is awesome! so simple (in idea - i'm sure punching all those holes is not simple in execution)... but the effect is very dramatic.
