Ikea bikini + summer clothing line!
Materials: Frakta shopping bag
Description: It's summer and I made a Frakta bikini!
And then developed a whole line of Ikea inspired swimwear.
It is also a hack of the H&M summer swim line.
So it's a double Swedish hack!
And those are ovenmitts as bikini tops!
Too hot to handle, we hope!
Enjoy + Lots of Sun!

ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!
ReplyDeleteHOTNESS!
ReplyDeleteI love that the oven mitt bra is called RACKA
ReplyDeleteHey it's inventive, but I'm curious to know what if any product testing you've done - most of those items look uncomfortable to wear, and unlikely to stand a gentle wade into the sea, let alone a dive into a pool or one 25m lap.
ReplyDeleteIt might look like swimwear, but I'm not sure you could wear it when swimming, and hence the key point of ikea products/hacks - functionality - is lost. Would love to be corrected - please share if you've done any testing :-)
Cheers,
CJ
Hey CJ!
ReplyDeleteWe've been doing a lot of product testing!
I've been swimming in the bikinis in pools and in the Mediterranean and it's been awesome!
The Frakta suits are lined with dishtowels, so they're soft. And now I wear the bikini top as a bra as the perfect summer layer under dresses and tanks! I even wore the bikini at IKEA yesterday as I was shopping. And I'll post some new pictures of me swimming on my site just as proof! Overall, it's so wearable on the beach and in the city!
this is creative!! :D

ReplyDeletecreative, but it looks just like most of the fashion you see on the catwalks: nice to look at, but unwearable, if the word is correct in english....
ReplyDeleteps it's my own opinion, i'm italian and my mind about fashion is made this way.

ReplyDeleteYou sound like a douche!
ummmm, ick? inventive but not very practical. a fun read, tho! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry, I do not find these attractive. The bottoms looks like they could be cute and wearable, but the tops are just....awkward. Are you sure those oven mitts are secure?
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. I thought this was a joke. But, um, it's not.
ReplyDeleteFantastiske!
