Hi great idea, if doing this in the UK with the Kassett boxes anyone know where to buy the metal hanging rails from? If you cut them down to size can you still assemble the rails back together correctly? Thanks!

You really want this $5 frame from staples. It just needs some everyday tools, and it’s easy to find and to set up. i Did it today. problem solved!

Great tip but we just ordered the said hanging files frame and it’s TOO BIG!!!! Did you say legal size by mistake? Because it looks like it might be more for the letter size one as the legal size is too big for the box – at least for us it is so I don’t really understand…am I missing something?
I was so happy to put this together…but now so bummed :( Thanks for any advise.

I have the same problem than Fabien. Ive also ordered the hanging files frame but it doesnt fit in the box. It is the frame what doesnt fit not the file rails.

THIS is the hack that I’ve been waiting to see. Unfortunately the Kassett hanging file boxes that are available in the states are designed to fit A4 paper – NOT COOL!

Great idea… in Europe do we have Kassett boxes especially made for hanging files. It’s all new. Maybe they got the idea from you? :)
