19" server cabinet from Lack with Vika Curry legs
Matthijs, inspired by the simplicity of the LackRack(.org) hack, decides to create something a bit more practical for everyday office use, made by three stock Ikea products plus some regular stuff from the local hardware shop.

ReplyDeleteRack rails are dirt cheap, Why not buy a pair of rails and simply screw them in for a super clean rack look.
ReplyDelete$15.00 to $20.00 for a new set of 16-21U rails, much less if you get them used off ebay.
P.S. that's a overheat waiting to happen you need 1U between each unit for proper cooling.
Overheating? That's rack-mount gear, it flows from front to back...geez.
