Lack Drafting Table

Nate turns his Lack table into a drafting table.
My Lack table started to show some wear, so I replaced it with a different bedside table. I turned the old Lack table into a drafting table for my design work. The extra legs made great pencil holders that match the finish. The entire project requires 2 hinges, 8 screws, a bit of super glue, and an elementary understanding of Trig.”

How bout the ruler machines >? can this handle them ?

  2. Nate says:

The hinges allow you to tilt the table up to access storage underneath. Originally, I intended to use a more obtuse angle and have 2 sets of legs for different tilts, but ran out of room on the base! Glad you enjoyed it ;)

    great idea.

are the hinges just stops (i.e. “chocks”)? or do they function for adjustment, or…?

i’d like to need one of those only to hack it like that!!!
also if it took me some 2 minutes to understand the way to look at it and what it was, it’s really great! and i think it could be better if painted some lively colour
