Alex gets a facelift

Jessica gives her Alex drawer unit a facelift.

“I changed my white Ikea Alex to better suit my decorating tastes.” The drawer units were first given a thorough paint job with spray paintKrylon Fusion Plastic PaintBlack. When dry, she mod podgedmod podge the front panels with scrapbooking paper.

    Nice work, I really like it. In fact, I’ve thought of doing it too, if I ever have need of an Alex.

    How did you cut out the space for the handles on the drawers? After pasting on the paper, just go around with an Exacto? That’s what I figured I’d try.
