Recover your armchair

Jill B got sorta sick of the outdated fabric. She says, “Ikea makes such nice fabric by the yard. Why don’t they use it on the furniture?” So she updated it with a new cover she sewed herself.

Hmm… I bought some fabric at Ikea and made it into dresses. It’s definitely sturdier than most dresses. About as heavy as khaki pants material. Use your judgement. If you have a lot of metal studs on your clothing, go with leather, otherwise, it would probably wear well enough for a few years.
