Please note that the Vallo is not heat resistant, so to avoid fire hazard, it is better to use cool light sources. The Ikea Parlor stones give a nice effect to the lamp and more importantly, increase the stability. Without them, the Vallolight is too light!"
Very fancy! I've been thinking of making some sort of lights myself, I really like how the switch fits right in.

ReplyDeleteCool Idea...but, somewhat too hot.IKEA also sells really nice compact fluorescent bulbs which would make this lamp much safer. LED source would be best.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the appreciation. The wires coming out of the spout (decorative only) are just taped on the bottom. To avoid heat I used some colored electronic lamps or a changing color LED lamp.
