She says, "It's not really a difficult hack, but I covered my Rian table with fabric.
All I did was to detach the tabletop with a screwdriver. Lay the top side down on fabric and attach with a staple gun, pulling the fabric tightly. Screw the top back on, and voila."

I cannot find the rian table at any of my local ikea's!!! I want one!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find it, either. And it's a very sterile table which reminded me of the hospital without the fabric. It's much cheerier this way.
ReplyDeleteThe IKEA website says that the Rian isn't available anywhere in the US. I don't know when that happened, it was on display at my local IKEA last month.
ReplyDeleteIt is an excellent table, though. The height is absolutely perfect!
It was on the US website as of March 24, 2009, but it isn't today (April 1). I want it!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am looking for it, and Ikea CS said maybe discontinued...
ReplyDeleteI was also liked Anes bedside table and that was too late to find from catalog.
Now I am searching from ebay.
Why they just discontinue like this useful cheap stuff...
