Gorm and the wash basin
Thye Foo from Malaysia (yay!) completes his first Ikea hack. And it's the first time I've seen the Gorm used with a sink unit. That said, the Gorm is untreated wood, so it would be advisable to coat it with varnish to avoid water damage.

Good idea, but where'd the window go?

ReplyDeleteWow. What a simple and easy fix! I can really see potential for staining the wood. I think it could look really modern and fresh with some color. Great job!
ReplyDeleteEven though I might have left the tall upright to the right of the sink, to make it easier to mount a mirror over the sink, a telescoping mirror could still be attached to the upright on the left. Cool hack!

I'm about to lose view of the hills due to new building.
What a great hack! It really furnishes the room, and leaves plenty of room for towels and other necessities. (With a bunch of kids, this would be a great setup.)
