How to hide the cistern

Izzy does a terrific job covering up the cistern.

She says, "Ikea has just brought out a new range of bathroom furniture and I wanted to do a back to wall toilet with concealed cistern to match. The pictures show how to get the cistern and toilet waste to run through the Lillangen cabinet – the remote flush on top will eventually go through a piece of worktop."

  2. Can we get more info on the fixtures? I love that sink, and I have never seen a toilet like that before.

  5. How easily can the toilet be accessed for maintenance?

  6. The toilet was £180 delivered, search ebay under concealed cistern toilet - they're still available. The sink is Ikea and designed to go with the lillangen unit.
It's quite tight for access but I can get to the cistern and water inlet easily through the top and the flexible soil pipe and flush pipe from underneath. You could make the front panel removable but I didn't want to spoil the clean lines by screwing it on from the front though it would maybe hang off a couple of brackets at the back.
    Thanks for the comments

  7. Why did you do this? This toilet will now protrude further into the bathroom than an ordinary toilet would (taking more space)
