French chic hacks

Guillaume sends us two of her his hacks. One is an end table with the feet painted black and covered with coloured paper. The second is a tray, painted back and embellished with a menu of a restaurant.

  1. Guillaume is definitely a boy's name ...

    The first sentence should be:
"Guillaume sends us two of his hacks"

  7. Jeez, lay off on whether or not these are "real" hacks -- did he use stuff from IKEA? Yes. Did he alter them in some way to better suit his preferences? Yes. Are they one of a kind? Yes. These might not be the most complicated hacks but they creatively take something ordinary and make it the person's own --

so Guillaume, good work, I especially like the tray w/ menu and thanks for sharing!

  9. I want to make a table like that, what did you start with? Or did you buy it from Ikea like that? I can't find anything on the website that resembles it.

  10. Thanks for yours nice comments !
For the table, I start with a IKEA side table (but IKEA doesn't sell it anymore). I painted the feet in black et cover the top with a poster. Then I varnish the whole.
(I hope you understand my frenchy English).
