Easy breakfast bar

Kathryn from Cyprus had a broken Stranne floor lamp. She salvaged the sturdy leg and topped it with a Pragel countertop. Voila! A breakfast bar. Simple and clean.

  1. This looks more like a high desk, I'm not sure if it is really suited for a kitchen, but it would make a cool desk.

  2. That looks nice, cool idea. But as Ashley said... seems to be quite low for a kitchen table.

  3. A breakfast bar is often something you stand at (or sit on a hi barstool).

  5. What supports the other end? Does gravity exist in this apartment?

  7. You don't have to have a stool at a breakfast bar - chairs do, in fact, exist at breakfast time. I much prefer sitting in chairs to standing.

I really like this idea - especially the actual leg. Looks really solid and sturdy.
