How about this for a workstation?

Rob from Austin TX pulls off this gorgeous desk-bench-storage system, with clever use of the Effektiv storage cabinets, Effektiv doors, Lansa handles, and several lengths of the Pronomen Beech countertop material.

  2. That is nice! Great use of space that is often tough to put to good use, too! Damn why is there STILL no IKEA in Kansas City?!?!?!

  3. Love the minimalist look! I have to wonder about cord/cable management, though. It would be ideal to house them in a cabinet or drawer. Just curious as to what the empty shelf is used for.

As for cord management, I just drilled a hole in the back corner to access an outlet hidden within one of the cabinets. The partially hidden shelf is to simply store scores that I'm studying at any given point in time (I'm a conductor/teacher on faculty at UT Austin) - helps hide the mess, but keeps them close at hand.

Thanks to Jules for a great website!
