The Tromso gets a lift

Lizz has this great looking loft with some hacked pieces of Ikea.

One is a loft bed on the top of her closet, made from a neighbour’s discarded Tromso.

The second is an interesting take on the Ikea Kajak (discontinued) with a mannequin torso permanently attached to the top. She says, “Sometimes Ikea furniture needs a little extra something to ‘get the Ikea out’.”

Ha! It’s a mirror and it’s relecting the nearby bathroom looking into its partly open door.

Very ingenious use. It makes me want to ditch my two story house for a loft. I’ve always liked the ability to free-form design one.

Looks cool but MAN I’d hate to have to stumble down that in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
