It pretty easy, just make a box with 3/4 plywood with any finish you like but the secret to have no screw showing is "The Kreg® Mini Pocket Hole Jig" great and strong to screw it from the back.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Archie...uhhh, I don't see what was wrong with the old style, and would definitely call it far from "uglyness." The old style had some character, some color, some flavor. I loved the colors, the bathtub "step," the plant (plants in all rooms!!!), the hanging light, the mirror, the tile...RIP nice bathroom.

ReplyDeleteHuh? To each his own, I guess. I would rip out the new one and rebuild the old one. The new one looks like Dracula's. Sharp angles, tub that looks like a coffin. I find it cold and austere. The wood floor is nice but the rest is definitely a downgrade. Ah, well... beauty is in the eye of the beholder. All the old bathroom really needed was a big ol spa tub... and the light. But if it makes you happy, then be happy!
