Bravo! That is one good-looking bathroom remodeling. Very inspiring!
I really like the results of this hack. I've been wanting to do something very similar. Any chance of getting some instructions or a step-by-step guide of some kind for this?
Nicely done, though personally I like the old look better :)
A very nice job.I would love to see the plans for this. I think a sink like that would look great in my guest bathroom.
It pretty easy, just make a box with 3/4 plywood with any finish you like but the secret to have no screw showing is "The Kreg® Mini Pocket Hole Jig" great and strong to screw it from the back.
That is a beautiful bathroom!
I agree with Archie...uhhh, I don't see what was wrong with the old style, and would definitely call it far from "uglyness." The old style had some character, some color, some flavor. I loved the colors, the bathtub "step," the plant (plants in all rooms!!!), the hanging light, the mirror, the tile...RIP nice bathroom.
Wow! So much better! Good job :)
This looks great! I wonder what kind of bathtub is that that goes so well with the sink. Any info?
well done!! huge improvement. some light and air, and a lovely clear layout.
Huh? To each his own, I guess. I would rip out the new one and rebuild the old one. The new one looks like Dracula's. Sharp angles, tub that looks like a coffin. I find it cold and austere. The wood floor is nice but the rest is definitely a downgrade. Ah, well... beauty is in the eye of the beholder. All the old bathroom really needed was a big ol spa tub... and the light. But if it makes you happy, then be happy!
Looks good, but I really liked your old bathroom.
Huge improvement! Congrats on the upgrade. I'm using your floating counter strategy for a hollviken myself.
Hey Jules, killer job on the floating vanity. I'd love to know your actual plans on how to build this. Please post. Thanks.
looks clean and nice. I love it, but how durable is it?
