pax wardrobe workstation

blaine finds a neat solution for his workstation. nothing is hacked, really, but it’s a nice repurposing of the pax wardrobe.

he says, “i took a double-wide pax wardrobe with sliding doors and made it my desk / photo studio / storage area.”

what makes this work are the pull out drawers, used to house his keyboard and other computer components.

what did you use for your computer roll out drawer? did you just saw down the sides and the end to make it work or does Ikea make that shallow of a drawer?

  2. Blaine K says:

Yes, it’s strong enough. I don’t have to put a lot of weight on there, but i frequently slide the keyboard out of the way and use a laptop there. it holds well.

Nice, Love it….Will have to remember those cabnets, armoirs…for my next office remodel!

  4. Shaun says:

Is the drawer strong enough? I would rest my arms on the drawer.
