hackea: mini bedside table

paul from london sent me his 'hackea', what he calls a mini hack. and a cute one too.

mini bedside tablepaul writes, "i 'hacked' this little bedside table a while ago using an ikea storage box (similar to the fira), four legs purchased from a local diy store and a selection of door knobs. its only practically suitable for low level beds, a bit small for divan beds or similar."

  1. wow, i love it. it almost has a tim burton quality about it, with the different knobs and weird size in general :D

i imagine it with colors, it'd be amazing :D

  3. If you want a taller piece of furniture to go with a taller bed, why not stack and glue together two of these units? ...or use one of the two-drawer units (has two CD-size drawers side-by-side) with one like the example?
