fab things you can do with a $7 ikea lazy susan

monica from the magazine, home by sunset has two wonderful hacks using the ikea lazy susan, snudda.

you’ve seen them and you’ve seen the prices. with an ikea snudda, you can make one of your own. monica stuck wooden teardrops on the lazy susan and painted it white. glue on the mirror last.

one ikea snudda lets you make two clocks. not bad for a $7 item. firstly, lightly sand the top and sides of the lazy susan. decorate it the way you want to with wooden shapes, stencils, nails – it’s up to you. paint and assemble the clock as per instructions.

  1. having this on your wall is really great, it serves two functions, can remind of the current time and create a beautiful style inside your home.

  2. Hi,

    I really like these idea’s, i almost purchased one of these from ikea recently but i went with an alternative.

    I was looking to use it to spin my LCD screen around as I have lounge on one side and bed on another.

    I found an alternative cheap option but I’m thinking this woodern lazy susan from Ikea would have been a better choice now.

    I did a little review on my blog of the pro’s and cons. my review
