a roskilde rug for the living room

karin stitched together 4 roskilde rugs (the link is to the large rug. used below are the small ones) to form one big carpet. lastly embellished with velvet ribbons.

    I did the same when I couldn’t find a large rug to match the room I wanted it for…but I did find little ones. It worked out perfectly and I thanked God I had bought a heavy duty sewing machine.

    Prue: I dont think I can wash it no. This rug is a temporary thing until I can afford a real one. So when something happens to it, so just use a sponge.
    If you are interested in the idea, just buy a ribbon and try what happens with it when being soaked.
