new look for the lampan lamp

i have the exact same lamp - the cheap lampan - an impulse purchase which i don't really know what to do with until now.

anneke simply glued a piece of cloth to the lamp's plastic shade with textile glue and the plain jane lamp gets a new look.

    My question is if it gets too hot (for the fabric)?

    Because I have those lamps and although I used the recommended bulb wattage, the top of the shade feels hot.

    I read this site primarily through an RSS reader (bloglines to be exact). I’ve noticed that your posts get-reposted a lot, which means that even after I’ve read a post, I end up seeing it show up in my RSS reader over and over again. For example, this post has shown up about three times so far.

    I also run a website, and I’ve found that this occurs when I go back and edit a post. When I hit save, the already posted article gets re-posted to the RSS feed.

    I just thought I’d give you a heads up in case you did not know that this was occurring. Thanks, and keep up the great work.

    thanks for the alert on my rss problem. i did not re-edit this post, so it really is a case of feedburner sending my posts over and again. i am in the midst of contacting feedburner for help. thanks for your patience and i hope to get this fixed pronto.
