build your own cat furniture

sylvia tipped me on this ikea bjarnum cat furniture by jujuo [via katt trappa]. simple and clean looking.

the shelves can be cut to desired lengths to create your wall cat ladder.

  2. I love this idea, and the shelves must be really sturdy, since those cats look kind of big.

  7. Great Idea!!!! Have you read a book called The Cat's House? The whole house has catwalks along the ceiling and cutouts through the walls. Now I can Make my house like that! Thank You!

  13. ok so i'm a little slow- are these just ikea shelves being used for cats?

  14. Yes they are but the boards that go with those brackets are longer. They cut them for the cat shelves. If you don't live near an Ikea, you can order by catalog.

  15. AHA! I am going to be building a loft bed soon and this is the purrfect way for my 2 cats to get up there. (I can't get to sleep unless someone is sprawled accross me and purring.) Thanks for the great idea!

  16. Oy! This would be great for my sons loft bed... his cat CRIES if he can't get up there, so I usually end up lifting him up and down all night when he wails for me. ;)
