Wow... that is fantastic!! my cat would love something like this to look down on people walking in and out of the room.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea, and the shelves must be really sturdy, since those cats look kind of big.
ReplyDeleteI absolutly love it!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm reforming my atelier and this ideas are great! My cats are going to love it too.

Great Idea!!!! Have you read a book called The Cat's House? The whole house has catwalks along the ceiling and cutouts through the walls. Now I can Make my house like that! Thank You!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!
ReplyDeleteWe installed these shelves in our FeLV+ cat room!! Check out the video or our foster cat Meli checking out the shelves.

That is really neat!! i've been looking for something different and that's it!!
ReplyDeleteWhere can you obtain the brackets for the shelves? I spent an hour web searching but couldn't find anything similar.
ReplyDeleteyou can find the brackets called BJARNUM at IKEA and can combine the Ekby Jarpen shelving in different sizes:)
Deletethe brackets can be found at IKEA, only.
ReplyDeleteawsome!!! where is the closest ikea to weymouth?
ReplyDeleteok so i'm a little slow- are these just ikea shelves being used for cats?
ReplyDeleteYes they are but the boards that go with those brackets are longer. They cut them for the cat shelves. If you don't live near an Ikea, you can order by catalog.
ReplyDeleteAHA! I am going to be building a loft bed soon and this is the purrfect way for my 2 cats to get up there. (I can't get to sleep unless someone is sprawled accross me and purring.) Thanks for the great idea!
ReplyDeleteChristie, Oreo and Hazel
Oy! This would be great for my sons loft bed... his cat CRIES if he can't get up there, so I usually end up lifting him up and down all night when he wails for me. ;)
ReplyDeleteHey in the picture of the shelves, what kind of wall hangers are being used, where can I find them?
ReplyDeleteIs there any rabbit ideas lol
