lacy lamps

ideas some times come when you least expect it. mieke was holidaying in spain when the lights turned on for her ikea lamp hack.

"i bought a set of three ikea lamps last summer and because they were really cheap (19.95 GBP for the entire set, i can't find it on the website though) and the shades were made out of paper they didn't last all that long. until i realised i should just get some fabric and redo them, and then i realised (while holidaying in spain) that if i got some ivory fabric and put some nice black lace over it it'd be even better."

don't they look way sexier than the ikea version?

  2. Absolutely LOVE these!! Especially the floor one in second pic, they are sexy indeed! Yet so classy, perfect for a bedroom :) I may steal this idea!
