chris’ corkboard project





a neat corkboard project from chris, which cost him a shade under $20. It uses ikea’s heat cork trivets, glued to a sheet of tempered hardboard. add a trim and some paint to complete the project.

    I love this one. I think I’d do it against a mirror or magnet board, though… just to get some extra use out of it. Certainly beats most of the corkboards I’ve seen sold! Good job!

    For my dorm room at school, I did something similar. We painted the trivets to match the colors of my pillows and then we command-taped them up behind my couch in a diamond form.
