take the $79.99 expedit bookcase and turn it on its side. pick up some industrial parts sorting bins from usplastic.com (items 53114 and 53115) and slot them into the shelves. 20 minutes work and no more toys sprawled out on the living room floor.

ReplyDeleteThis is a useful idea (I bought an expedit to put on its side like this just on the weekend) but those boxes are ugly! And they don't seem to be efficiently sized. The Lekman fits exactly in the squares, and comes in different colours. Or any of the woven baskets would be a good idea too IMHO.
I haven't pimped my expedit yet but I AM having fun rearranging my cookbooks in it... :-)
Those bins are not ugly. They are similar to the QGH series.
