la apartment therapy recently featured a diy kid's chalkboard table which i thought was so practical yet so creative. i wished mom had thought of this while i was growing up. i would have gotten a lot less spanking from doodling on the wall.

Chalkboad paint is awesome. It can also be found in spray cans if you're more comfortable with that. Home Depot carries some.
ReplyDeleteit is, etc. i also saw recently, but can't remember the site, some dude painted his the entire front panel of his fridge with chalkboard paint - turning it into a dinner menu board. cool.

ReplyDeleteWe made one for my kids with the Svala children's table and 2 chairs, along with some stain and chalkboard paint. It turned out great and only cost around $50.
